11/12/2013 · Welcome to one of my first Civilization multiplayer gameplay matches! I will be playing with some fellow YouTubers that are also quite fond of Civilization!... What's necessary to get mods to work in multiplayer? For instance, what must one modify to elimate (or extend) the turn count timer? (I can see what's in the mod but what does one need to change to make it "native" to the game and work in multiplayer mode?

Unlike in Civ V, the AI in Civ VI actually pays attention to the Barbarian threat, meaning you won’t have to do all the hard work. Likewise, if you spot a city-state or outlying city struggling... I'm not sure how it works on multiplayer, but apparently in Single player, when you pick for example 'King', any penalties are applied from that setting are applied to you. Every AI then picks 'Chieftain' and gains the bonuses from it.

AI now uses its own current friendliness level with a given power to determine …... Civ 5 doesn't make it to where if you siege a city or fight another army the entire game pauses for everyone. I feel like there would be gamey ways to defeat another player by watching if there army moves to attack yours then just quickly switch to ambush stance and they get ambushed. Seems like there would be some logistical issues too.

- The AI does not contact human players on its own in network multiplayer games (internet and lan). This mod activates the ai to contact human players like the ai does in singleplayer games. To use this mod, you need to know how to play with mods in multiplayer.
